Feel cheated
I bought this Documents to go application earlier this year. It had a function where you can link it directly with your email and you are able to send email attachments along with your documents.
Unfortunately once my DTG was updated to version 4.0.2, they suddenly REMOVED the email function and demand that we have to pay more money and upgrade to the premium version in order to use this. I feel rather cheated in the sense that I originally paid for this program based on what functions have been offered and it should never be REMOVED when our program is upgraded.
Not recommended.
Sync very poor, but once sync'd this is a great app.
I agree with all the complaints about connection issues. DTG seems to force using WIFI for the sync, ignoring a perfectly good sync cable that we need to use for everything else. :(
If we were just forced to use WIFI it still wouldn't be a BIG gripe... except that the WIFI connection isn't recognized most of the time. (Even though other apps are using WIFI just fine) I go weeks between syncs because I don't have hours to try over and over and over to get a sync. When I start DTG on the touch and MAC and I get a green "Connected" indicator I almost fall over myself to hit the sync button while I can!
Once sync'd, DTG is a great app and I have very few complaints... support for password protected files would be nice since wandering the dangerous world with important documents makes me nervous.
Good features but . . .
Am only commenting on the spreadsheet as I do not use the rest of the suite very much. Use it on an iPad.
Docs2Go spreadsheet has plenty of features but the user interface is not as clean as Numbers or QuickOffice. The way it handles multiple sheets is particularly cludgy - no tabs, just a button to take you to a line of sheets you scroll through - and no way to reorder than that I have found. I prefer QuickOffice, although that lacks the ability to freeze rows/columns and always opens at cell A1 on the first sheet - neither of which limitations is present in Docs2Go.n.
If you want graphs/charts then Numbers is your only option.
