Expedia: Travel, Hotel, Flight 4+

This has got to be one of the best accomodation Ive been to all my life. From the airport pick-up to the welcoming crew to the receptionists to the bar assistants, buffet assistants, room service, cleaners and the floor show crew with their MC! You were all amazing! 😍

Will definitely come back with my little family as it is very child-friendly aswell. Thank you guys for making our stay a very pleasant one 🤍

Avoid Expedia -

Worst experience ever with flights booking through Expedia, think twice before booking with them!I had to rebook a return flight so contacted Expedia months before to rebook, they booked me a connecting flight too close to the next flight, and then the airline changed the flight so it overlapped with the next one. No warning from Expedia!!! When I was overseas I found out. I called the overseas Expedia, they told me I had to contact Expedia in my home country, cost like $8 a minute on my phone to call. They said I had to call the airline, I did, the airline said Expedia had to change the flight. After dozens of call’s over a week finally talked to manager who said they would email the airline. Expedia customer service promise to call you back but they will not unless they have a solution. Finally they told me they can change the flight. 4 days before my return flight I call Expedia to get confirmation, what do you know they never rebooked the overlapping flight!!! It’s still ongoing I will have to book a new ticket with the airline direct and claim back the costs from Expedia. It’s crazy something so simple they just won’t do it, obviously the flight must be changed! Be very careful, they will not warn you if there is an issue with a flight or change to flight. They sound nice on the phone but will not do anything behind the scenes! Never experienced anything so hopeless from booking a flight, even during Covid..

Application doesn’t keep your bookings in one place and loses them

One would assume Expedia is Expedia. But it turns out there is Expedia in many countries and each one requires you to log out and log back in. Why would you have trips in two sites though? Well because when you book while travelling it defaults to the nearest site and doesn’t tell you. So end result is some of your booking are on the other site, some of them are just missing requiring the itinerary and your points are split between sites and not transferable. Double check which site you’re on. Shame on Expedias IT and product owners for not sorting this out or nor having a work around it really isn’t good enough. I rang customer support but they can’t help outside of predefined support scripts which I might add is like talking to a computer that only says no. They come across as inhuman. Very bad experience for a simple problem.
