Description
Take control of your internet with Firefox.
When you choose Firefox, you’re choosing to stay private, stay focused, and stay in charge.
PRIVACY WHERE IT MATTERS MOST
Firefox blocks hidden trackers that follow you around the internet and slow down your browsing. Want more control? Switch Enhanced Tracking Protection to Strict mode for extra protection across all your tabs. Or browse in a private window — your search and browsing history disappears when all your private tabs are closed.
DIFFERENT DEVICES. SAME TRAIN OF THOUGHT
Start a search on your phone and pick it up on your laptop — or vice versa. With a Mozilla account, your open tabs, history, and bookmarks travel with you. Firefox can even suggest strong passwords when you’re creating a new account and securely store them so they’re available across all your devices.
STREAMLINED HOME SCREEN
Pick up right where you left off. Your open tabs are intuitively grouped and displayed, along with recent bookmarks, top sites, and popular articles.
FIND IT FAST WITH FIREFOX’S SEARCH BAR
Get search suggestions in the search bar and quickly access the sites you visit most. Type in your search query and get suggested and previously searched results across your preferred search engines.
ORGANISE YOUR TABS THE WAY YOU LIKE
Open as many tabs as you like without losing track. Firefox displays your open tabs as thumbnails, making it easy to quickly find what you want.
SHARE ANYTHING IN A FEW TAPS
Easily share links to web pages or specific items on a page, with quick access to your most recently used apps.
BILLIONAIRE-FREE FOR OVER 20 YEARS
The Firefox browser was created in 2004 by Mozilla as a faster, more private, and more customisable alternative to other web browsers. Today, we’re still not-for-profit, still not owned by any billionaires, and still working to make the internet — and the time you spend on it — better. The Most Secure and Least Invasive Browser
This is the most secure, reliable, trustworthy and least invasive browser you can get. It does not put the nose on your things like Chrome and Edge. If you want privacy, give it a shot. You won’t regret, promise.
It's a browser!!
It's a browser. It lets you view webpages. However, on install it also switches in several spyware features such as running studies on your browsing, and also sending all of your usage data... you can switch this off in settings, but for a browser that claims to put the user first, this shows Mozilla bullsh1t the same about privacy as everybody else. There is NO such thing as anonymised data in the browser world... you are a fool if you believe otherwise. Mozilla shouldn't have spyware switched on by default. Also, still no ability to switch off the very, very annoying autozoom on form fields. it wouldn't be so bad if it unzoomed once the input field is left, but I guess that actually would be helpful, and let's face it, at this stage, browsers aren't designed to put the user first, instead prioritising the website's providers. Just another example of individuals being deprioritised to the technology allegedly built to serve them. Mozilla suggests they put people first, but they don't. Software literally allows you to offer every conceivable option to users of it, so that it can truly serve each individual's needs, but that's not what we get. Anybody is welcome to disagree with me, but as a software developer with 45 years experience, now developing software for governments etc let me tell you: you're wrong. The people who ask us to write this software, don't want users to have choice. How would they control your actions then?!

Used to be my #1 choice of browser. No more
Used Firefox for years but started looking elsewhere.
Each new update seems to lose functionality.
One example: Closing all / multiple tabs on iPad and phone really hard work now as so obscure to find the icon / link to do so. Other browsers make it much easier.
The latest huge annoyance is, when I move from an open tab to look up or do something in another app or copy information from elsewhere to that page, when I click back on the active tab it jumps back to home page instead , with the page I was on minimised and lurking somewhere in a “ jump back in” list.
It is VERY disconcerting when the page closes as I click back on it and I cannot find where to change this annoying setting.
I DON’T want it to disappear and have to work out where it went to get back in. I just want to keep my workflow and get on with whatever I was doing. Like paste information into a text box or web form.
It’s especially confusing if for example I had several tabs open from a site and they all look similar in the “ jump in” format so I get distracted having to find it then scroll to wherever I was .
Sadly going back to Safari but will miss all the things that made Firefox top of the game. At least on the app. Web version may be different.
Developer Response ,
Hi! We are sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered in Firefox for iOS. I understand how you prefer not seeing a new tab opened when you launch Firefox. You can change this by going to Settings > Home Page > select "Last Tab". We do update the app to fix unresolved issues and add new features. We hope that you consider trying Firefox on your device again in the future.
