What’s New

Version 6.2

• We were again able to add many new oxalate values to the database.
• The entry of ingredients in recipes and the diary was tweaked.
• There are many further detail improvements, e.g. when looking at individual meals in a diary entry or assessing the calcium-oxalate-ratio.
• We updated the information in the database and corrected some minor issues.

We really hope that you like the new version! By the way, if you want to support us, we would be very happy about a review in the App Store!

Really useful!

This is a very handy app for handling multiple food intolerances. The navigation options are easy and intuitive, and it was very quick to set up. Many listings provide not only the requested figures (e.g. lactose content) but also a short and useful explanation of why the food may or may not be safe for your intolerances. I also really appreciate the citing of scientific sources where possible! As well as hundreds of basic foods, there are quite a few I don't recognise (e.g. bindfleisch & olomouc), which may be helpful for European users/gourmets. I'm looking forward to the addition of even more foods in future updates! :)

Can be confusing

This app has the potential to be very useful, but it sometimes provides conflicting information. Often will get a red food with no information to indicate why. I will also sometimes get a red food for histamine, only to find that it is for Oxalates… for which I need a different app altogether

It’s probably the best app available for food intolerance, unfortunately that says more about that lack of options

Good tool…

Could be better, a little bit more intuitive. Could give you a list directly of all the food that has histamine in it without you having to filter one by one or it could show items by diets of what is green and what is orange and then what is red…without you having to filter one by one. Overall it’s a good tool at least you’re able to see, what is what.

Developer Response ,

Dear Lita, thanks for your feedback. Our app can do all the things you mention: you can use the sorting function to sort by histamine content or by color rating. The filter function hides unsuitable foods. Please make sure to have a look at the detailed manual to learn about all the different possibilities of the app (Knowledge base >> How to use the app). If you have any questions, just send us an email. Your Baliza support team.
