Really good books!
I really liked the various books on this app, and the fact that there are books you can listen to with background sound tracks. However the only thing is the wait between chapters and the amount of ‘coins’ that you have to use to get new chapters. I don’t mind waiting to read next chapters as it is a free app and all, however the wait is long and can vary between books, currently the books I’m reading are either six hours between chapter and ten hours. Other apps I’ve used only take three hours. Also the coins can be frustrating, at the beginning you only have to use like four coins to buy a new chapter but then the amount went up and now I have to use twenty coins to buy a chapter if I want to read ahead of the timer. Other than that I still really enjoyed this app
Wonderful books - shame about the points
Absolutely enjoying all of the books ai have on the go in my library. Well written, diverse and intriguing. But it is disappointing that you can only read one chapter at a time & have varied time limits between chapters. Some books it’s 5hrs, some eventually go to a 36hr wait between chapters which I think is ridiculous. Would love a different scheme to get free points, like daily goals. Read 15min get 2points. Or something similar to that. Would just make it a little nicer than waiting for daily points to accumulate enough to open a chapter. Otherwise good app. Stories are interesting and really pull you in. Will continue to use the app despite its flaws.
Galatea
I was intrigued when I saw an ad on Facebook for The Arrangement and have found the story quite addictive. I was really enjoying it until the free chapters ran out, I started paying small amounts $9.99 as I couldn’t wait 6hrs but the points very quickly got used up and the wait time kept getting longer so I stopped, then I discovered the ways to get free points. Sadly though it started feeling like a game when I just wanted to enjoy the book. The year subscription for me is a lot to pay up front and would like to suggest a say $12 monthly and or $30 3 monthly subscription to make it a little more affordable.
