Accessibility needs a little improvement
I gave four stars as the app is generally quite accessible using voice-over. However it does need some improvement concerning booking your power shout. I was able to select the date and time for my power shout and submit it, however I did need a sighted person watching the screen as I was doing it. As I got no feedback telling me that I selected the correct date and time. It would be helpful if voiceover said selected when I have chosen my date and time.
I do like this app and how you can track how much your power bill is going to be I find that very uself . However I do find it frustrating that more often than not the app doesn’t work for me an shows “something went wrong” and won’t load any of the data. Can be frustrating when wanting to pay your bill.
Also a suggestion when ording LPG bottles it could advise you how much they will be and an estimated delivery date As clicking order now can be extremely daunting when you have no idea how much it will be or when it’s coming.
I do also wish the LPG and power sat seperately like they used to as I found that easier to manage .
Very cool new updates telling you what percentage of your bill is hot water/appliances etc .
The data is WRONG - This app is meaningless.
The data this app presents is totally inaccurate. Even if I log onto Genesis website it shows DIFFERENT data for the same day. Hourly break down does not add up to Daly today. Daily totals are on wrong day. This all makes the app totally meaningless and a total waste of time.
There isn’t even separate data for night rate or hot water meters. Historical data is limited - hourly data only seems to go back a few days. App often comes up with “no data to show” for several days at a time. Worst of all the data is uselessly old, sometimes have to wait days to see hourly data. Our usage breakdown showed hot water was over 50% of our power usage - so we got an electrician to check things out - turns out Genesis just calculate that number wrong. Its fun to look at your power usage - but you might as well use a random number generator!
