Indispensible

I've been using Gifox for a couple of years, and love it. I use it all the time when working on software – for pull request reviews, sharing previews in Slack, or highlighting bugs. The shortcuts make it easy to capture a GIF recording without having to think. Great little utility.

I saw a complaint in the reviews about getting a black box when trying to record a window. This isn't a Gifox bug, it's privacy a feature of MacOS. You need to make sure sure Gifox is given Screen Recording permissions (in Settings > Privacy & Security).

hasn't worked for a long time

It's a bit hit and miss, currently getting black screen output. I found a beta version that you guys released that supposedly fixes it, and I can't get the permissions to work. I think you guys should stop charging for this until you fix it. I know I paid for it because it was good once.

Good luck.
