I love the concept of this game more than any other. Being able to shape the land so intuitively and play god was really fun. The graphics and animations are absolutely brilliant. You developers did a fantastic job. It’s one of my favourite games by far. I wish I had the time to keep playing it, but I don’t, so it was deleted.

My only issue was with the game’s pressure to play consistently with the Astari. It would be awesome if there were a different game mode where it was less about fulfilling goals and more about shaping a landscape without costing belief. No Astari, no people, no belief system. It wouldn’t be for everyone and maybe the creations wouldn’t even have to be permanent. It would fulfil my need for a game that gives me free reign to build something beautiful quickly and easily.

Amazing concept, poorly executed. Just frustrating a lot of the time.

I don’t usually write reviews but I feel like this feedback is necessary.

I love the idea of this game it’s amazing but the sculpting tool is very frustrating. You should be able to enable and disable it like a tool. It’s also not very accurate and you end up spending so much belief on simple edits because you have to correct it, or fixing the sculpting you did by accident because you can’t turn it off. There are a lot of gameplay decisions that weren’t thought through with ease of use in mind.

Now about the ads... I don’t have a problem with ads in games but they should be voluntary. An ad that I click on with a reward doesn’t make me angry but when I quickly want to pop into my cards menu and a 30 second long ad starts playing I want to throw my phone. Or when you click on chests you can’t know if an ad will appear and waste 30 seconds of your life. Giving players the option to watch ads when they want to helps make us a lot less likely to stop playing. This is the main reason I stopped playing after 2 days of actually really enjoying the game.

So as a whole, I love the concept of the game and many of its features. I just wish I could enjoy playing it. Unfortunately it just frustrates me and the fact that I could love it so much but I can’t makes me even more frustrated. Quite disappointed ☹️

If these issues are tackled I would gladly play the game again.

I love this game, but Astari Glitch?

I love this game to pieces, but I always run out of storage and I have to delete it. I’ve seen reviews from others complaining about the Astari people, and yeah they were annoying when I first played the game. But on the second run I got rid of them entirely.
Using the powers (ie, the lighting) I was able to kill all the Astari which I regret doing, because then the game became boring and played out. Once I get more storage I’ll be downloading the game again and I’ll see if I can get very far this time without disturbing the Astari too much.
