Welcome to the new HERE WeGo!
HERE WeGo is a free navigation app that guides local and global travelers on journeys both familiar and foreign. The app now has a fresh, new design and clearer, easier to use navigation.
Enjoy a more carefree journey and reach your destination effortlessly, however you need to get there. Get there on foot with easy-to-follow walk guidance. Take public transport in more than 1,900 cities around the world. Or use turn-by-turn voice guidance with accurate driving directions and go by car. You can even find parking at your destination and get guided directly to it.
Visit the same places often? Save them in a collection to stay organized and find them easier. Or use shortcuts to get directions to them in one click.
Need to make an extra stop or want to go a specific way? Simply add waypoints to your routes and HERE WeGo guides you there.
Want to save your mobile data and stay on course even without an internet connection when travelling? Download a map of a region, country or continent and complete your journey while staying totally offline.
HERE WeGo also works with Apple CarPlay® so you can enjoy world-class navigation in your car's built-in display.

Offline maps update
We listened to your feedback! With offline maps, you can now start, pause, resume or cancel map updates. We'll also send you alerts so that you can update all offline maps in one go.

Old vs new
Yes the new App version of this looks new and improved but I was really shocked how much the new on lacks on the old App, where I have been using the old version for years like others comments with no issues.
Please do what I did if you wish to try the new version and it will run better.
- full delete the old App
- reboot your phone
- the download and install the new App and allow for notifications etc
- download any maps you needed
- start breathing again
Here has lost its way!
I have been using Here in New Zealand for years. Have always loved it for some great features: offline maps, onscreen speed , (both actual speed and the legal limit) nice graphics.
However the latest versions seem to have gone downhill. It suggests preposterously long routes and then refuses to update and follow my actual path when I drive a more logical direction. It doesn’t seem to know where I am! Combine this with a competition that uses much more up to date info for business addresses etc and it might be time to update my preferred navigation provider

The new version
I have been using the app for many years until the latest update which removed a lot of functionality. After upgrading to version 4 all my favourite places saved previously were removed without a warning, all the maps needed to be downloaded again, a speed limit sign turned to a tiny icon which is hard to see, routes suggestions have disappeared etc. I have to find another alternative now as there is no way to go back to the old version.
