Did I switch off the oven? Instead of heading back home to check, simply take a look at the app. You will see the status of your appliances straight away with immediate access to important functionalities, whether at home or on the go.
Be aware of all that’s important
Oh, the fridge door has been left open? When do I need to descale the coffee machine? Important notifications and reminders regarding maintenance and care will be sent to you automatically. You can also simply check the manual which is conveniently stored in the app.
Voice-control your appliances via Amazon Alexa
Whether it’s making coffee, preheating the oven, or starting the washing machine: Voice your command and Amazon Alexa will take care of the rest. What’s more, you can use predefined or individual routines for recurring tasks, like having your coffee made at the same time each working day.
Finding the best programme and other little helpers
Dishwasher, dryer, or oven – depending on the appliance and task at hand, the app will recommend the right programme with the ideal settings, whether it’s a pile of dirty dishes, a load of washing, or the cheesecake recipe for your next family reunion. And with Coffee Playlist you can even fulfil your guests’ coffee needs to match that cheesecake.

Dishwasher remote access
Who would’ve thought connecting to a dishwasher on your mobile phone would be anything to go by. We’ll, it’s pretty cool actually. How often I got things all ready and then forgot to turn it on. Now I access on my phone, set up the wash cycle and BAM! It’s done. Great little feature.
Neff oven
This magic…everything could be done without doing it all at home.
Just like ticks and gets it all done instantly….
Useless!
The version of Home Connect (I am still struggling to work out how/where to find out the version information) I downloaded and have been trying to use since Christmas 2022, is unhelpful and not of any use to me.
I am using it with a Bosch dishwasher (SMS6HCW01A) and the connection between app and dishwasher is never maintained.
Every time I go to connect to and control the dishwasher, the app states that it is either "connecting" or "not able to connect at this time" or words to that effect.
In order to connect to the dishwasher, I need to remove the appliance, and re enroll the appliance as a new appliance and then it works.
Until, the wash cycle finishes and shuts off, and then cannot and does not connect whether the appliance is switched on or off.
This has to be the worst app I have ever tried to use.
