--Are there any requirements?--
Starting with Homemanager 3 we support all Homebridge systems which use the Homebridge UI with V4.29.0 or newer and all HOOBS systems with V3.2.10 or newer. It doesn't matter anymore on which platform you have Homebridge or HOOBS installed.
Due to the close collaboration with the Homebridge team, new features or API changes will be implemented on time. The only thing you need to do is simply updating the app, we'll take care of the rest.
--What is Homebridge / HOOBS?--
Homebridge is an open source software written by a large community to provide HomeKit support for almost all smart devices on the market. Homebridge works as a bridge between your physical smart home devices and HomeKit. Once set up, you can control your non-certified HomeKit devices in any HomeKit app and with Siri.
HOOBS is an alternative to Homebridge, developed by "HOOBS Inc." whose focus is on hardware out-of-the-box solutions.
If you don't have a server running yet, you can find more information and interactive instructions right in the app.
--Does the app cost?--
Yes. Due to the large maintenance effort, support and new features being added all the time, we are unable to offer the app for free.
To get to know the app better, you can test everything 14 days free of charge, without any payment or in-app purchase.
After this time you can decide if you like what you have tested and have two licenses to choose from.
Licenses are lifetime, localized prices for your country can be viewed right here in the AppStore in the in-app purchases section.
--Is there a way to contribute?--
Yes, as we target a community-oriented concept, feedback and feature requests are always welcome. If you would like to help us with localizing the app into your native language or with beta testing, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Perfect HomeBridge Companion app!
Love the option to try with free trial, then a one time free licence instead of a monthly subscription. Super easy for quick updates and config changes instead of going to the HB web UI on mobile. Keep up the great work!
Hate apps show free and then it’s only free for a week
Apps should show - PAID and in app purchases. Free to try for a week. NOT free and then after doing the thing realise you have to pay. The app already took your details. Apple should look into this way of advert the app to catch you. It’s under false pretences. Apps are free or paid for!!!!!
UPDATE: Hi there. I was angry. I don’t know much and bought a home bridge. Make it easy at home for my wife and me. The older you get the easier should things be, like not walking into furniture, waking up during night. Anyways - I prefer paid as FREE apps, one get Facebook that use your data. I don’t like anyone use or know my stuff unless I open the door. So in your case - free, I thought works with the bridge I paid for. Then sign in on my stuff and then only the page that state free for x amount of time. So I decided NO and here was my anger. I already let the app into my home. How to reverse this? I am stupid and things not easy. Buying a new car, I don’t fill and give my pedigree to take a car for test drive. That happens when I decide I like and want it. Then I hand over my details. I prefer the paid apps cause they should be NOT a Facebook or Google. Yeah, I have gmail email but I am busy closing and deleting the lying cheating stuff that made me the commodity. It’s more work to delete and fix than doing it right. I can’t review the app as I didn’t use the app. All I wanted was the app or landing page for my bridge

Hi,
actually the app shows you in the AppStore that it contains in app purchases. It is explained clearly in the description and you can see the prices in the sub section „In-App-Purchases“.
We are sorry that we are unable to provide more than thousand working hours for free.
Regarding the in app purchases itself. It is common practice to offer the users a free trial in the app. Apple officially explain these kind of apps. It is almost the same as with subscriptions, but we decided to charge only life time one time payments.
