Long term review
I have used this app for 5+ years now. It has proven to be quite reliable. Occasionally I need to re-sign back in but that is seldom. Using iPad Pro also about 5 yrs old. There was a few issues getting the app/iPad settings sorted upon first linking but has been quite reliable as said above. Printer model I am using is MFP M277dw. The printer, app and iPad were purchased at the same time.
Main reason I got the app was to scan docs and save them (in my case to Dropbox). App opens quickly and takes about 5 seconds to find the printer which is connected by wifi. The printer can be used by others on the same wifi. I am self employed working from home.
I would recommend this app.
So far so good
Setting up the printer itself is pretty easy, and the instructions were straightforward. The printing quality of the document, both in colour and black and white, produced an excellent crispness and is on point. The bonus part and one thing that amazes me was when I tried printing a photograph. The picture came out flawlessly and fast! Great machine and such a convenience to print across all my devices in one tap with just a few taps or clicks away! Its ability to fetch my printing through wifi is just the best. I feel so techy, modern and brainy! LOL! 🤣🤣🤣
Never works properly
The constant need to enter passwords is a time consuming and not needed when you are wanting to get something done especially when it needs to be done for each new item printed. The printing if it works takes forever, 1 document actually took 3 days before it printed. The scanner is hit and miss as to weather or not it can be used some days it’s available on the app and others for no reason it’s not able to be used from the app. The paper settings change of its own accord making it absolutely useless some days with no way of changing them back and then randomly it will be normal for a day before going back to being a good for nothing other than a paper weight. I don’t write reviews but this is exceptionally poor, time consuming and frustrating with the added bonus of not actually producing any output.
