Version 2.26.0

The final release for the I Shop app. By the end of March this app will be deprecated and you can use the New World app for your online shop (and much more). In this final release we fixed some small bugs and put ourselves in a good place for the transition to the NW app. It was a pleasure developing this app for you and we hope to see you on the other side!

Helpful but needs improvement

The app is handy but definitely needs improvements.
I’ve found that every time I delete something from my order, it will delete other things randomly too, so I always have things missing from my order.
The weekly lists are sometimes helpful but I find Countdowns way easier. Having a favourites list that is made for you based on what you usually buy. It’s easier to pick out what I usually order rather than having to search for it.
The staff are great at completing the orders. Human error can be made which I don’t mind, but it is hard to make contact with the store if there is something that has gone wrong. Something on the app to contact the online team would be helpful.

App and service need work.....

It is a lot of work, I have ordered twice and it would have been nice if there was an algorithm which either gave me the option of my previous buys or allowed me to enter in my list where those particular items would be searched for specifically. IOS app is a little slow on start up, takes 10secs to load.

Also the service of the driver and the fact that our shopping was not delivered on time, nor did I receive in that time a call that my delivery was going to be delivered after my initial selected time slot. After a complaint to your call centre I heard nothing back, although I was promised multiple calls, each time I had to ring. This customer service is very disappointing.

I have moved back to countdown delivery, I would rather support a NZ owned company, but not with that type of service.

Hi Tina, really sorry to hear the order was not delivered on time – please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
The app does store your previous orders (under My Orders) and you can reorder items from a past order. Also, you can create your own lists (using My Lists) to help you shop faster.

You need a better app deign, this is bad

It's hard to know where to start. The need to activate GPS capability, the time consuming workaround if you don't, the small unzoomable unlabelled product selection pictures or one of the many other features requiring time and thought to work around. Navigation seems to have improved but I'm not prepared to put in any more effort.

I'm off to countdown, though I marginally prefer to use New World. This app and the website make access to information so difficult in comparison to the current Internet standard that you are damaging your brand.
