Ratings and Reviews
Great app
Have tried several other simple text editor apps, this one is definitely the best. The only small inconvenience (and I realise not everyone cares about this, in fact I’m probably in the minority of iA Writer users) is the lack of a proportional font, like Helvetica, as an editing option. While the built-in monospace and duospace fonts are great most of the time, sometimes I do prefer editing using a proportional font. Byword has this feature, and I would love to see iA Writer implement it too! We don’t need a selection of fonts, just one good proportional font would be perfect.
The best text editor
I use iA Writer all the time for just writing stuff and taking notes. I love it how the interface just gets out of the way and the icloud syncing lets me update/check things on my phone.
