Simply Amazing!
Got this software 4 months ago… bee using it basically every week… It does a great job of getting the artwork and blurb about the different movies/tvshow I convert. The output works well with my Apple TV 2… I look forward to a possible update for the Apple TV 3… (I know there is a 1080p option already, but Itd be nice to see Apple TV3 in the menu… Also in a future update could you please add the ability to move movies or TVshows up or down the Queue to change the order of conversions if necessary)
Apart from those to amendments its the best converting software i've come across!
iTunes will never do this
If you like to keep your movie (backup) collection organised then this is just the tool you need.
Loving the fact that it downloads a synopsis for each tv show. When viewing on Apple TV these short summaries are priceless time savers.
Remuxes mkvs and avis surprisingly quickly without re-encoding the H.264 video data…
Pay for the app, then for annual subscription or updates
Biggest rip-off. I paid for the app and was then told that a new version was out that I was meant to pay for as well (no regular free updates!). As I didn’t need any of the new features, I stuck to my purchased version. Lo and behold - to use those features that I paid for, I now need to also pay an annual subscription fee. The only alternative is to purchase the ‘new’ version for >$50; it will only be a matter of time before I’d have to pay a subscription fee for that, too.
Wouldn’t spend another cent on this program or anything else this company brings out. I found another app that does everything iFlicks does, is cheaper, user-friendly and doesn’t charge me multiple times for the same product.
Worse experience ever.

iFlicks 1.x has received free updates for a very very long time after it had been released. If you have purchased iFlicks 1.x you can also keep using it for as long as you want.
iFlicks 2 is NOT a free update to iFlicks 1.x so obviously it has to be purchased separately.
