Description
With the Holman iGardener app you can use your smartphone to control all the programming and interface functions of a continually increasing range of Holman garden watering and light products via Bluetooth®. These products are designed for easy DIY installation.
You can control the following Holman products with the iGardener app:

• BTX1 Smart Valve Tap Timer
• BTX6 Irrigation Controller 6 Zones
• BTX8 Irrigation Controller 8 Zones

• Schedule up to 8 tap timers or controllers via the app
• Scheduling options for 7-day watering, interval days, odd days, even days, cycle scheduling, manual watering
• Set your run time in hours and minutes
• Up to 3 start times per day
• Watering duration from 1 minute to 59 minutes
• Ability to connect a rain sensor (BTX6 and BTX8 only) and set a rain delay via the app

Basic and confusing.
I used to have fx with chosen colours to fade but the function appears to now be removed. Not user friendly at all. I can’t have my selected colours as a simple cross fade - or the instructions don’t make sense. Developer needs to have users test the app to make sure it makes sense. I have two controllers and there’s so much potential for great lighting themes. The manual is out of date. Get someone younger to develop it. Not some 40-50 year old white guy.
Needs multi user support for light controller
The only reason why I have stopped purchasing new controllers. Only My phone can control it in a family home.
Time zone support looks flakey
Setting timers appears problematic, although it’s impossible to know if it’s because of the app, or because of the controller. Either way, what used to work fine now appears to be an issue.
Specifically, it appears that your timers need to be set in UTC time as my lights are now coming on in the morning, not evening as before.
There appears no way of setting your current timezone, so for me (utc +12) timers to run at 20:30 fire in the morning
