Infinite Flight Simulator 4+

A bit too overpriced and less access to most of the game

Dear infinite flight dev,

I loved your game it’s really good and I enjoy playing it in my free time. I just have some slight issues and requests to make. The first one is that the game is too overpriced for pro because it’s literally 16 dollars for one month. If it was lowered down it would be better and I would really appreciate it. My second one is that if you have no pro, you have very little access. There are so much planes but only a few of them can only be used in solo. Another thing is that you cannot travel out of the regions! I wanted to do a long flight but I found out I couldn’t. My last thing is that I bought infinite flight a long time ago and you guys just made it for free. I’m just wondering what will happen to the money I paid like if I could get pro for one ,onto or something but it’s ok. Overall your game is very realistic and nice. I like your game and I’d say it’s the best mobile one.

Infinite Flight comes with over a dozen free aircraft and 8 large HD regions with hundreds of airports. We also often release free new features. We understand subscriptions are not for everyone, so to provide the best possible experience and continue further development, we have made the online subscription available as an optional purchase only. In terms of pricing, these things can change all the time for any product that you buy unfortunately. Games you've bought in the past most likely costs differently today.

Good, but overpriced and a battery drain

This flight simulator(without factoring in pricing) is among the best in the App Store, with numerous highly detailed and realistic airliners coupled with a handful of equally detailed military aircraft, while also having fairly realistic scenery to boot. However, much of this requires a rather expensive subscription service, in addition to the app itself being locked behind a sizeable paywall. This makes the app itself of questionable value, particularly when you consider the fact that it lacks 3D terminals at any airport, which is something that has been requested for years(although the devs have been updating and rolling out new planes regularly) and is found in other competing simulators. In addition, I would like the devs to add realistic flight data if possible, although that would probably be quite hard. Finally, the app does use up a lot of battery quickly, which means I rarely play it anymore, in addition to the large majority of services inaccessible behind a paywall. Overall, three stars from me. Making the app itself free while keeping the optional paid subscription service(and compensating people who paid for the app itself) would bump my rating up to 4 stars. This app used to be well worth the price. Now, not so much.

Thank you for your honest review! Buildings is something that's on the way and have been announced and displayed actually. This is also where the sub price comes in, as we're doing everything in-house and does not rely on any 3rd parties for development. It gives us the best control of the content and allows us to steer in a direction we & many of the users wants us to. Not quite sure what you mean by realistic flight data though :)

Problems I have experienced with New global update

Now let me start by saying I love infinite flight and I have been looking forward to the global update for a long time. I am very happy that it is released but I have noticed a few problems with it. One of the ones which I noticed a lot of people complain about was the loading times in the beginning. This frustrated me a little bit but I soon realised that this is a huge update and that there are probably a lot of assets that need to correctly download etc. So I gave it a couple hours and sure enough it worked.

On my device (iPad mini 3) I find that it is quite laggy at times which is especially frustrating during live flights. I attempted a flight from Auckland International Airport to Brisbane and I noticed it was quite laggy at some points but it worked. But what was very frustrating to me was when I was flying from London Heathrow to JFK and mid flight the app completely crashed and I lost my progress in my flight. At times the update is hard to run (and that isn’t surprising due to the size of the update) but it is definitely a problem.

Finally I would like to say that you are doing a great job in pulling this update off and keep up the good work. I trust you are working on fixing all of the bugs and problems with the app.
