On its first run, your robot maps your home and automatically segments and labels each room for you. Further personalise your map by creating Keep Out Zones, No Mop Zones and Clean Zones that allow you to clean specific rooms and objects or tell your robot where not to clean. Powered by iRobot OS, your robot continually learns your home and offers zone recommendations for a more precise clean.

Walter our iRobot is fantastic!
We have had Walter for nearly 1 year and he’s fantastic and vacuuming and mopping our floors. He avoids objects and even sends us photos of things that were in his way.
Only problem is that we need to remove and clean his rollers every clean, but that’s the price to pay when you have 4 females with long hair!
Strongly advise against both this app and buying a Roomba
Regarding the app - when Roomba gets stuck it creates rooms that don’t exist and there is no ability to delete rooms in the app. Often takes a long time to load and/or locate the vacuum when stuck.
The vacuum itself - Roomba have stopped selling their highest end Roomba in my country, the s9+, and also apparently stopped supporting many of its consumable parts. I bought for a lot of money a couple of years ago as it was reviewed as the best for carpet on other sites. I noticed some issues recently and on inspection found the rubber wheels worn away and rollers need replacing. That was fine as they have these parts listed on the website but they aren’t available for purchase anymore. Some more googling reveals they appear to have stopped supporting this product altogether?! I got in touch with them and after about a week they referred my to some random vacuum repairer with a personal generic email address who wouldn’t respond to my emails. For the amount of brand recognition iRobot have I was pretty shocked at this and would like to make others aware and to avoid making the same mistake as it was a lot money for something that last for a year or so (we bought because of my wife’s severe allergies)
Useless
The app is so bad and laggy I try to delete something and nothing happens this issue is so annoying as I’m trying to do a schedule but it won’t delete the old ones even when I select for them to be deleted. The robot constantly runs out of battery whitest cleaning and is like a game when I get home “finding Roomba” where ever it decided to die. I bought this Roomba a few years ago it cleans alright not as good as a regular vacuum but it’s alright. Wouldn’t recommend if you have a lot of animals. No replacement parts in stock. You have to buy off brand parts, the off brand parts do the exact same thing so it’s fine. Also you don’t necessarily need to buy new finish bags so often, all you have to do is cut a hole in the bag and find a way to keep it tight so when the bag is full open the cut and let out the all stuff then close it again. It’s pointless buying new rubbish bags. Only get them if you like wasting money.
