Found it good
I had to check it’s right before she finished all questions (which she mostly gets it right) my daughter is close to six and doesn’t emotionally handle the going back to 90 if she gets it wrong at 99, maybe going back 2-3 questions is more suitable since kids can know but make silly mistakes and going back ten can seem too much for for a mistake. Also when you get it wrong it lets you understand how you get it wrong then you put ‘got it!’... perhaps with certain more tricky aspects like Roman numerals it should give an understanding of it before she has to start straight into the questioning... to get her head around skill first. So I give a little explanation if there is any misunderstanding. Though she understood the odd and evens with the visual display given by IXL which warmed her up to the idea evens is when things can be paired up in 2’s and odd is when there is the odd one out so it was good offering the concept of that much easier. If these things were worked out then there would be no complaints just ways of making an already great App greater like put little picture icons to display what it covers in the list of skills for the younger ones
Okay App
It’s a pretty good app and good for learning. But one thing I don’t like about it is that when your close to getting 100 points, for example, you got 99 and then you made a small mistake on a question and it takes you back to 90. It’s pretty annoying, I think it should at least take you back to 95 or around that number.
I just think it’s not really fair, and I know this has been said by many people. So it would be awesome if you could change it.
Other than that, it’s an amazing app! Well done!
Why IXL is the worst program
IXL is the worst program to be known on the history of us human beings. This apps aim is to stress your kids out each day. Destroy their childhood, and waste all your money. And guess what your paying IXL money to stress your kids out every time they use the app. I’m still not sure why people are using this app for their children, but if you are, the more your kids will grow the more complex questions will come, and when you get a question right you will barely get any points, but when you get one wrong IXL got the AMAZING idea of taking the person who is answering the question 7-11 points down. So listen up IXL you should remove the SORRY INCORRECT NOW YOU’RE AT 80% thing and make explanations more clear. One more thing it sometimes tells random things like FIND THE INDEPENDENT CLAUSE and in some points it doesn’t explain it from scratch. IXL if you are reading this you need to change loosing points thing because my siblings are get fed up of it and are always stressed from it and become angry from it.
