Love this App

As an avid reader I have found this App to be a godsend. I read quickly and easily finish an average book in a day. When travelling I would commonly pack a half dozen books which always caused issues with baggage weight. Now I can have books downloaded ready from the library and no problems with being over weight limits. I love how you can place books on 'hold' and you are notified they are available to download immediately - no traipsing off to a physical library to collect - of course, Murphy’s law dictates that when you have several on hold they will arrive all together but with the new feature of being able to put your hold back and stay top of the list this is no longer a problem. A great and convenient app.

Needs improvement

Honestly, this is such a pain to use. The menu categories are unintuitive and unhelpful. In the Shelf the backbutton only works until you get down to opening individual books, where it then sends you off somewhere completely different. Sorting tags by oldest keeps breaking and reverting back to newest and needing to be reset. These two things together make any kind of tag management a nightmare. Audiobooks that have already been downloaded to the device are constantly refusing to open because of internet connectivity issues, which is frustrating enough when commuting but worse at home with a good wifi connection and no practical need for internet connectivity at all. And the Notify Me emails not containing any links and just helpfully suggesting you go find the book yourself is hilariously passive aggressive. I would submit bug reports for some of these but the Libby app doesn't make support particularly convenient to contact either. I wonder why.
