Worried about battery drain? Life360 has the lowest battery drain of all locator apps on the market. Our advanced algorithm helps us decide when to update your location, so we never just leave your GPS on.

Here are some of our key features that you can use when you register with Life360:

Place Alerts: See when your friends and family members get home from school, leave work, or start warming up on the practice field. When you’re all busy doing your thing, Place Alerts keep you in the know.

Location History: See an ongoing timeline of your friends and family’s comings and goings, organized by day. Easily review past trips and even see how much time you and your family members are spending in specific locations.

SOS Alert: If you ever feel unsafe or are in an emergency, SOS sends a silent help alert with your location to your Circle and emergency contacts.

Low Battery Notification - Life360 is able to display the battery level of each Circle member and can send an alert when a Circle member’s battery level is low, so you can rest easy with peace of mind.

Driver Reports: Peace of mind when you’re not along for the ride. See how drivers in your Circle did on the road this week. The Life360 Driver report includes an assessment for each drive that covers: high speed, phone usage, hard braking, and rapid acceleration, as well as a driver score - so you can see who is a safe driver in the family!

Bubbles: We all need to do our own thing once in a while. A Bubble lets you temporarily show only your general location for a set period of time for a little privacy. Your Circle will see only your general whereabouts, while all safety features stay on.

Life360 makes it easy to stay connected, informed, and safe. Register today and keep your loved ones close.

Kids and Parents Love this app

As a family we discussed whether this app would work for us before we installed it.
We all agreed that knowing where each other is , kids not needing to check in, knowing how far off mums or dads pick up is are all great features.
In practice it’s worked even better not to mention helped the children and me located our iPhones on occasions when we have left them in shops or taxis!
The driving reporting feature has been excellent for our children as they have become new drivers.
Thanks Life360!!

Doesn’t update on battery saver

The next update definitely needs to be able to update when phone is in battery saver mode, luckily my friends and I use it to make sure we aren’t in dodgy areas at night etc and mostly are capable without the app but arguably you end up in the trickiest situations with no battery or battery low because you’re trying to contact people. I see not much point using the app when it stops tracking as soon as you turn battery mode on, and my notifications are always very delayed often telling me my flatmates are arriving home after I’ve already been talking to them on the couch for 30 mins. If there was an actual scenario or situation where someone was in danger I wouldn’t be confident using the app alone because of this. It would also be great for the app to register when people tracking eachother are at the same location, I don’t need to get notified 4 times that my friend has completed a 3km trip when I was the one driving her there. Lots of room for improvement and again pretty pointless for low battery

Helicopter Parenting

This is helicopter parenting at its worst (if you don’t know what helicopter parenting is look it up). If you don’t trust your kids going out and have to track where they’re going, why are you letting them go out in the first place. 1. Owning a phone and 2. Knowing how to use it is safe enough in it itself. Do you need to go out of your way and take away your kids right to privacy and not teach them in away how to trust your loved ones? You put trackers on animals, not your kids. If you’ve done a good job of parenting you won’t need this. If you’ve stuffed and resort to this you’ve failed.
