Download limits stay after deleting downloads

I actually do like this app when it comes to downloading episodes for when we go away in Campervan BUT there is a limit to the number of episodes you can download from a series - fair enough - so I deleted all the downloads we had on the app as we had watched them all and went to download the next season while we had wifi - I then get told that I need to delete the downloaded ones before I can download anymore!!! The only way to contact NEON is to email and they were pretty quick in replying to my email and telling me they can delete the downloads their end but first I have to reply to that email to say “yes do it” - sent the reply and nothing more, keep checking my emails and checking to see if I can download - no change! :( :( :(

Terribly made

Comparing this to Netflix there are so many improvement of life features missing it’s ridiculous. From not being able to skip intros, not being able to fast forward 10 secs and back 10 seconds, not being able to fill screen on devices such as the iPhone XS Max, having to create an account online rather than through the app and just turning up the volume creates the whole HUD to appear which is very distracting and counter immersive. I hope many features which some I have wrote down maybe be added and fixed. Great content but terrible video player... it’s enough to make me want to go back to Netflix

I initially really liked Neon. Great options of shows and movies.
I dealt with the one too many neon ‘updates’ (which meant I couldn’t use the app for the time they were updating). But after the recent merge with Lightbox, I’m 100% disappointed.
My watchlist and viewing history has been wiped and my favorite show is no longer available. I messaged the company about this and they said, quote: “The team focused on our most popular shows and are now working on the rest.” It’s been 3 days since the merge, and I believe 6 months since they knew they were going to join forces with lightbox. You’d think they would’ve organized themselves with that time.
If there problems aren’t fixed, I’m confident many will no longer be staying with neon
