Living Earth - Weather & Clock 4+

I really like the app, but I've noticed a huge increase in my data usage. (I suspect the desktop background weather view is the culprit) As much as I like the app I can't afford all this cloud data, so I've had to disable my favorite feature. I do understand that all that cloud data has to get to me somehow though.

The app would be a bit more fun if it behaved like it's iPad counterpart. A tiny window on my screen for the sat view isn't what I expected. (Perhaps it could be resizable?)

The weather data is really nice.

When the screen saver starts up, you are given a nice, rotating earth showing Northern hemesphere cloud patterns… but it doesn't do much for those in the Southern hemisphere. Maybe a future update might give us the option to set our own hemisphere? Or better yet, just use our current location?

All in all, a wonderful app that gets more and more polished with time.

This App keeps Freezing on iMac,Just been doing it since update of IOS,Needs an update to fix,I thought it was processer or Ram etc on Computer,Had it checked,But its the App thats the Problem.

I just purchased this app without doing to much research on the whim that the iPad and iPhone app are excellent. I'm really not impressed with this at all and it cost me $10 which I now can't get back. The window size of the planet is miniscule, smaller than what I would see on my iPad and not much bigger than the 4s planet size. Does not appear to be resizable. On the 4s and iPad app there are extra features such as being able to track tropical depressions, changing the planets view from cloud to mean temperatures etc. I really feel for the money being charged the developer needs to upgrade this application to something much better before I could recommend to anyone. However, it does tell you the weather at your selected locations and gives you real time cloud coverage, shame it's not full screen to take full advantage.
