Version 9.11.8

This update brings significant stability improvements. It addresses an issue where tapping on deep space images could sometimes lead to crashes. Additionally, the display of Hubble images in the sky view has been corrected. The update also fixes a crash when searching on devices running iOS 12.

Excellent application

This application is an absolute pleasure to use, with so much information right there at your finger-tips. The author should be proud of his work. I am sold on it and will be recommending it as one of, if not the, best astronomy programmes available and totally suitable for enthusiast and beginner alike.

Good

I use this app to identify stars and planets I can see, which it’s good at but really needs a way to automatically rotate the view as the phone rotates, so what you see on the phone lines up with what you see in the sky. Maybe there is a way to do this but it’s not clear how to turn it on.

Thank you for the review. Luminos does have motion tracking and it's activated by raising your phone/pad so that the back is pointing towards the sky. We'll keep working on making the lift gesture more intuitive and also look at putting a button on the sky view to activate it without a gesture.
