Designed from the ground up as an extension to our award-winning, browser-based interface, the MindMeister app stores your mobile creations and seamlessly syncs them with your online account.

The “Basic” version of MindMeister is free. You can try the “Personal” plan free for 1 week after signing up! If you enjoy your “Personal” trial, do nothing and your membership will automatically continue as an auto-renewing month-to-month subscription.
If you subscribe via iTunes: Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan above.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings on the device.
If you haven’t subscribed through iTunes, you can manage your subscription through MindMeister.

Great visual way to organise ideas!
I’ve been using this for years. It’s been great to see the changes over time. This is the best it’s been and I can’t go without this app!
I’m studying medicine and this is how I review lectures. It’s a great way to map out key topics and sub topics without getting overwhelmed. Great interface and design. I’ve chosen to stay with Mindmeister because I love the way my mind maps look and how easy it is to generate.
I like the ability to change templates easily even after I’ve already completed the mind map.

Very easy to use.
Easy to use. Easy to organise your thoughts, brainstorm, ideas, or whatever you need. And also its easy to look at later. Not complicated but with good tools ! Love it
Be careful to put all your thoughts into a cloud subscription model
Your ideas, grown for hours, days or longer will be stuck in mindmeister, since the export function is not working as expected.
Moving out of the cloud or into another cloud tool is limited.
Example:
No images will be exported.
If you use quote marks “ in your mind bubbles as text, export / import to FreeMind fails.
Support is friendly, yes, but helpless too. Be prepared to get friendly non-support when issues come up. You will be asked to support yourself and report back when you found the issue yourself.
Try other applications and make sure you can easily export to offline solutions too. Otherwise your Intellectual Property might be stuck in a subscription plan.

Hi JoeB7, we are transparent about the export options in the app: for free Basic users, the export to RTF and a MindMeister format is available, other export options such as the highly requested PDF or export to image formats are available to users with a paid Personal license.
