Description
Minesweeper 2 is the sequel to the classic retro PC game, bringing the nostalgic game you know and love to your mobile phone. The game is simple: use strategy and logic to avoid the bombs to clear the minefield. Challenge yourself and use the custom board builder to create your own puzzles. Track progress and game stats to beat your own times & scores.
If you like old classic games like chess, checkers, backgammon, solitaire, freecell, and classic puzzle games like sudoku, tetris, and crossword puzzles then this game is for you.
How to Play: Start with a covered mine field of square tiles and clear the field by tapping one square at a time. Beneath each tile is is either a number to indicates how many mines are touching the tile, a blank space, or a mine that will explode when tapped. Use strategy and logic to navigate the mine map and win the game!

Just one minor issue
Works well and properly, except for the fact that the first tile that you tap does not always reveal a whole area. Instead, it sometimes only reveals that single tile, which happens more often on larger maps. This means you have to fail several games before being able properly start playing.
Change :(
I’ll be honest I laughed when they first updated it and encouraged a subscription fee for minesweeper of all things. But now I’m just sad. It was a simple app, basic controls, settings, and a simple tap to get a new game. Now it’s got unnecessary pop ups, constantly asking for money.. I mean I can’t imagine it was THAT popular of an app beforehand, and now? Come on. But of a bummer, as a 20 year old, I feel elderly complaining about minesweeper from ‘back in my day’, but here we are.
You can still play minesweeper so if that’s what you are looking for it’s fine. It was just better once.
New feature completely ruins the game
I use flag mode constantly, but in the most recent update, they made it so clicking on numbers inverted all flags around it. This has completely ruined how I played the game and it’s extremely easy to do accidentally.
I also have other issues: Intrusive popups even when you disable ads and also, the times don’t work. When I do hard all the times don’t show and apparently are in medium. This means I don’t know how fast my actual times are. All the games I do in hard also get lumped into medium.
