Description

Momentum is a turn based, real time action roguelite where your reflexes matter as much as your strategy. Pick the perfect hand out of various weapons that synergize with unique relics to find the perfect build, and you just might make your way to the end to defeat the Lost King!

Turn Based combat
- Pick an attack each turn, based on attack speed, momentum cost, and multiple attack effects.

Realtime combat
- On the enemy's turn, parry their attacks with perfect timing. On your turn, chain multiple attacks together in real time!

Unique Weapons
- Each run, pick attacks from four different weapons, each with a different playstyle!

Synergize
- On your runs, pick up unique relics that synergize together and with your weapon in different ways, leading to multiple strategies

Unlock New Relics
- Unlock new relics to see them in future runs!

Collect and Upgrade Equipment
- Collect and upgrade permanent equipment to customize your playstyle!

Just the Beginning

Love the game mechanics

It’s a really fun arcade game that is easy to learn but hard to master. I appreciate the new update with all the extra info and extra equipment load out. I was super lost before.

Having said that I think some weapons need a bit more “balancing” to make them different. So far I have only seen sword and dagger as viable build.

The hammer costs too much momentum for 1 atk and doesn’t have any special effect so I think it could use an innate ability like “charging: deals 1 extra dmg next atk and stack up until you are hit”.

Sword and shield are slow and deal less dmg than sword alone so I think adding the defensive passive like the monster in the cave could be nice.

And the staff takes too long for you to kill an enemy even though I really like the momentum atk of it. Maybe it just need to cost less momentum.

Sorry for the long review, I just really like the game and want to feel the uniqueness of each weapon. :)
