Important Notes
• The revamped mydlink app offers more intelligent, customizable, and intuitive smart home automation, as well as improved user experience, enriched features and increased usability. We want to ensure all users get optimal experience, in order to achieve this, the mydlink app will no longer support iOS versions below 10.3.4. If you are currently using iOS 10.3.4 or below we recommend you upgrade your mobile operating system as soon as possible.
• Older D-Link cameras (DCS-xxxL and DCS-xxxxL) can still be used with the new mydlink app, but advanced functionality such as Cloud Recording and Automation will not be supported.
• The new mydlink app does not support mydlink™ Home devices (DCS-935LH, DCS-8200LH, DSP-W110, DSP-W215, DCH-S150, DCH-S160, DCH-S220, DCH-G020, DCH-Z110, DCH-Z120).
• The new mydlink app does not support setup and control of D-Link Wi-Fi router devices. To install and control these devices, follow the accompanying instructions on the router packaging and manual

The latest update is amazing! It’s so much more user friendly and has made automating my switches super easy!
Terrible performance
When I first bought my smart plugs the Dlink app was better. Now it’s soooo bad
Frequently it shows the sign in page on opening, but won’t let you sign in. Force quitting the app results in it signing itself back in to your account (so was it signed out, who knows?)
On my iPhone 15 pro max on a fast wifi it always takes more than 10 seconds before I can actually control the smart plug.
Transitioning between simple screens causes “loading” to show, and this will lock the app for up to 5 seconds each action you take.
Sometimes it will refresh and incorrectly show the plugs as on when they are off, or off when they are on.
Other times it will show you the main screen as if you have no devices. They all just disappear. Only resolved and reappear by a force quit.
This user experience is terrible, it seems to have got progressively worse and worse. I only use this app because I think I have to. I should google if I can set up the plugs with a third party app.
Dlink, this is seriously broken. No one would buy your products if they first saw how poorly the app functioned

Mydlink app issues
App has generally been laggy and slow, often requires reloading and relaunching of the app. Recently though every time I try to set up the scenes function it simply crashes.
I’ve deleted and reloaded the app, tried on another device and used both wifi and data, all to no avail.
Terribly frustrating given that the cameras themselves work well, good battery life and images.
Currently waiting for call centre support post completely unhelpful email response
