Endless re-logins spoil it completely -STILL
The app itself is fine, but completely spoiled by the fact that once you have disconnected you must then login in again before you can connect again, even let the app install a profile - again-onto your phone and you also have to use your device password for that. This make ‘quick connect’ an absolute joke. Note that problems persist under version 5.7.2
Glad I changed.
I switched from Strong VPN to Nord and there is a huge difference, all good. Many servers, easier to use, better interface, and no more dozens of disconnection messages when the computer comes out of sleep. (One time I had to dismiss over a hundred disconnection notices with Strong before I could use the computer again. And Strong looks to have too much of a Russia connection.) Buts: there are so many servers there isn’t any way to know how to choose among them. And as other comments note, speed varies widely across servers. The fastest I have found are from the US, though I’d rather route through a non-Five Eyes country. Otherwise, couldn’t be happier to have made the change and not worried that I made a two year commitment.

okay so i get that these platforms have to make money and i was prepared to pay for a south african server no problem BUT paying the full year amount upfront??? i haven’t even tried the product yet and from reading the reviews here it seems like the “money-back guarantee” is a tedious and lengthy process with no guaranteed results. i’d be fine paying monthly and giving 3 or 4 dollars every month but at least let me try the product before i spend just under 4 hours of minimum wage work on a product i might not even be able to enjoy. nah im okay actually cus i wont be paying upfront for this and then also paying for the country-exclusive streaming service as well
