Not Knowing It Is from Ukraine until Today
1. I’ve been using it everyday for reading and making notes, better than the build-in Books
2. The signature function is super useful
3. To the developers: please think twice before banning Russian customers as they are unlikely to be fooled by Russian TV or other propaganda machines, and on the contrary, may help us end this war more quickly
4. Last but not least: I STAND WITH UKRAINIAN

The subscription price is ridiculous
Sorry, but Readdle have made a meal of their pricing. PDF Expert is a good app, but nothing in the pro subscription is worth $85 a year (yep, that is the price here). To put it in perspective, my Settap subscription costs me less, and I get 120+ Mac apps for that. It's also more than I can get an Adobe Creative Suite sub for via school, now that is madness.
I suspect this is what happens when you offer free apps for so long you have to start recouping costs. PDF viewer is a third of that price, and it integrates with the IOS native APIs a lot better. Time to switch.
Expect the usual lip service about a freemium app etc, it doesn't change the fact that this app is yet another example of developers renting out their software. If you take the upgrade cycle, and the previous cost of an outright purchase you are looking at something like an 800% increase. And that's generous napkin math.
Readdle make good software, but not this good.
