Ratings and Reviews
Awesome
When I first saw the iPad I hoped this would happen, just like the real thing Brilliant, every western baby boomer in the world would have to love this, bring on Indiana Jones pleeeease, one minor criticism, ball physics a little glitchy as it rolls towards flippers occasionally, but really heaven, lifetime customer cheers
The new main menu layout "I've got blisters on my finfers!"
First things first. In terms of pinball experience, physics simulation and truth to the originals nothing beats Pinball Arcade.
Yes, unlocking tables is quite far on the pricey side (especially since lincense fees these days are raised via Kickstarter campaigns). But to be fair, they do a fantastic job adopting those classic tables.
The main thing that always made me cringe was the design and handling of the table select menu. So I was quite happy to read that Fairlight updated that part of their software. Alas, it did not improve. Actually, quite the opposite.
Sure, the growing numbers of tables made a revamp necessary. But why the developer chose to lock it into landscape mode, when you are actually playing the tables in portrait mode is beyond me. Now I find myself continually rotating my iPad when I leave a table to chose another one... Not to mention that the graphic design also took a turn for the worse. Now the 90's $2.50 shopping mall games look is complete.
Rubbish
The money you spend to buy this game only gives you one machine to play, if you want to play a different machine you have to spend another $2:59nzd for each new machine which is a rip off considering its not a good game anyway. The ball goes way too fast at times and goes down the middle between the paddles or down the sides way too often to make this joke of a game enjoyable. It's hard to try to get a good score or do some of the goals on the machine when the ball is constantly going down the middle.
Make the other machines part of the initial cost of the game and not extra money you greedy nob jockeys
