Plus500: AU & Global Trading 4+

I’ve been using the app for 5 months now. It’s a little tricky to verify your account, the support team was good in helping me with that though. Depositing and withdrawing money is a bit difficult aswell but using PayPal helped with that. I’ve deposited $2.5k of my own money and recently withdrew $20k

I went to withdraw 600 NZD from my account, it said it was processed and I saw my bank account go up so figured it worked. Then I checked it and they had only given me 575 NZD. No where does it say there is a withdrawal fee and so I talked to someone on the live chat who asked me to provide proof of their mistake which I did and the. they said someone would get in contact with me but nothing so far. Also very suspiciously now I can’t log in to my account because of routine maintenance. I believe this platform tries to scam little guys who can’t afford to hold them accountable- would not recommend.

Update: The intermediary bank charges the fee and Plus500 doesn’t make sure they give you the right withdrawal amount and hope you don’t notice the fee charged. So whenever making a withdrawal unfortunately you have to make sure you get the right amount. Very sneaky by Plus500 because they can claim they don't charge the fee but the intermediary bank they use is probably cheaper than one that doesn’t and they hope they’re customers won’t notice the fee. They will make lots of money off people not noticing this and if you do notice it and ask for the correct amount you will be asked to provide proof of their mistake and are then compensated with a correction and a weak apology - for something like this which I could’ve easily missed I expect more sorry.

They employ all sorts of price manipulation tactics, making it even more difficult to profit than stock trading already is AND they have one of the highest spreads on the market, meaning they take far more out of your profits than nearly every single one of their competitors. Their customer support team are full of morons, i had to repeat the sentence ‘i do not own any of x asset’ 3x in a live chat conversation before they finally processed it and don’t even bother trying to contact them if their live chat is disabled... they’ll ignore your email entirely. I’d HIGHLY recommend using a competitor. I’ll let you all do your own research as to which is best for you.
