Scam alert!!!
“Won” a six month subscription to this service via the McDonald’s monopoly game… they refuse to honour the win unless I give them my credit card details. Scummy company with shady business practices. A good company would honour the win without trying to sneak costs onto your credit card. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!

Hi Sarah, we're very sorry to hear this and are happy to clarify. We offer a free trial at the start of a subscription so that you get a chance to try out our service. When the trial ends, it will automatically renew into a monthly subscription to provide an income for publishers and journalists who publish their content in Readly. We hope that you will like it so much that you want to keep using our service, but if not, you can of course cancel at any time, also within the first 6 months before any charge is made. We would like to clarify that we have no interest in tricking any of our customers into a subscription, and the terms and conditions are clearly visible before signing up. Do not subscribe. It is impossible to unsubscribe! The unsubscribe instructions are bogus! There is no “cancel” button under subscription and payments. I will be contacting the DIA as Readly breaches the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 in New Zealand
