RP provides accountability

I have tried this app, which I find is very helpful to keep me accountable. I like how it focuses on macros and instead of calories. I also like how I was eating smaller meals throughout the day. However, I don’t like how I have to eat a certain times. If my workout lasted longer than expected I would have to go in and reset my day and would lose my meals for the day. I also found it difficult to eat late at night. I usually eat most of my food in the middle of the day, and am fine at night. Although I find this app helpful, I don’t find it conducive to my lifestyle. It has helped me reset my eating habits and has taught me a few things. I recommend this for someone who doesn’t know where to begin, needs a reset, or has a very routine-filled life.

Thank you for your feedback. Our app uses meal timing scientific principles to determine your meal times. If you are interested in changing up meal times, we have a couple suggestions for making that work. First, you may be a bit flexible with your meal times. Most of your meals which aren't within a certain time frame of your training session, can be eaten within a half hour or so of the times suggested by the app. If, however, you would like to have the diet adjusted to your desired meal times, you may do so by adjusting your wake up, and bedtime hours, to reflect the meal times you desire. We do, however, recommend that you still consume enough protein before your bedtime.

Ok I guess

The organising meals are ok but it’s on the high end of protein which makes it much lower carb than I need, and no flexibility for changing this. May suit others.

Great app, but not yet suitable for plant based

I love the app, and the way it functions, it would be perfect if I ate a lot of meat but sadly it’s not set up to cater for a plant based diet very well.

I rarely eat processed vegan protein such as tofu, seitan or take protein shakes and get my protein from Whole Foods such as legumes, nuts, quinoa... the app only allows me to count the carb/fat content of those foods and completely disregards their protein. Given that 100g black beans contains 9g of protein and 18g of carbs, it seems silly to disregard that protein when it’s a 2:1 ratio of carbs to protein and my macros were set at 1.8:1. So, that considered I could easily hit my macros with a mix of some foods higher in protein if I could take the holistic content of the meal into account.

If you eat meat, this app is great and will help you dial in your nutrition, if you’re whole food plant based probably best to look for alternatives.

Thank you for your feedback. We have many vegan and vegetarian users who see great success using our app. For simplicity, the app only counts macros downstream, so items added in the 3rs step, will not be including protein. For these cases, we recommend simply using the custom foods feature of the app.
