iPhone integration with Strava

I’ve used Samsung health on samsung phone with samsung watch for a while now and have recently moved to iPhone. Still love the look and functionality of the samsung watches but no ability to sync samsung health on iPhone with Strava. Don’t want to change watches but this is one of the reasons I use a fitness watch, any chance this will be added soon?

Integration with 3rd party App Strava is not fully available in the iOS version of Samsung Health yet. Horrendous

Not worth the money.
If you need this app to connect with your Samsung watch good luck.

I hope my issue is with the watch rather than the app but the watch requires this app and it really does not work. I have a Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro and the sequence required to sync involves three apps and must be done in the correct order. Most days I have to restart both phone and watch and despite showing as connected in a couple of places (Bluetooth settings and Samsung Gear app) most days this app says there are no wearable devices connected. So I can rarely download data and when it does work I get two days max of data losing the rest. It’s a celebration when it does download.

I’ve contacted the support team and the response is slow, and really demonstrated that the developer needs to rethink the experience for users - eg the need to open the Samsung Gear app and then the Samsung Health app (but not by using the Samsung Health icon in the Gear app as that doesn’t work).

I won’t start on the watch that is a whole other basket case of issues definitely no good if you want reliable GPS or sleep data. It’s so wrong it is laughable. 150 kilometers in 20 minutes of exercise?

Perhaps you could try updating the software of your Gear. Go to your Gear Settings→Gear info or About gear→Update Gear software. If this does not work, try reporting the issue again through the App Contact us. Unreliable Data Connectivity

I have an iPhone but like the Samsung galaxy watch. Whilst the galaxy watch app appears to connect just fine to the watch, the Samsung Health App is different animal it would seem. Often have connectivity issues and will not download data from a recent run , this is despite having just recently installed all new software into a new phone….

Any help on this matter will be appreciated….
