Description
The Schlage Abode app gives you keyless convenience and the ability to configure and access your smart lock via Bluetooth. This app works with Schlage Ease™ series of smart locks.
• Lock/unlock your smart lock and check your lock’s status
• Manage unique guest access codes
• Schedule temporary or recurring access codes for certain times of day so you control access to your home
• Send virtual keys to guests with your smartphone for additional keyless convenience
• View past activity to see when guests used the lock, giving you greater peace of mind
• Select length of time delay for auto-locking to make coming and going even easier (for deadbolt variants)
• Receive low battery warnings with advanced notice
• Customise push notifications
• Receive built-in alarm warnings
Adding a Schlage Wi-Fi Bridge (AB100) enables remote access, allowing you to use the above functions from anywhere when connected to your home's Wi-Fi.

Needs a better understanding of the human condition
Mate, I do not want to be prompted to change my master PIN while locked outside being rained on. Since no one uses that the risk of compromise is VERY low and enforcing updates is maddening.
Can’t even use the app to unlock until you do this. The stupid rules around codes not sharing DNA makes it trickier to come up with something on the spot.
FFS when I bought this lock I had no idea I’d be entering into a life long relationship of PIN maintenance and other clownage. What a stupid system.
Software lets it down
In theory (and as advertised) this lock and app should function really nicely and allow multiple codes in different time periods to give guests and tradespeople etc access to the door. In reality the app fails to do as requested >80% of the time, either but just saying “operation failed” or not following your settings hence trying to adjust any code takes 5x longer than it should. Developing a properly functioning app would make the hardware so much better to use.
Appalling
Do not download. Every time you try to use the app you have to create a Master code. Or even when have just created one to use the app. So more and more master codes get created that can unlock your door. The most unfriendly app I have used. A shame as the idea of remotely controlling access to your home is good and the lock itself is very good.
