Description
Sherlock is a computerized version of logic puzzles, where you're presented with a series of clues that help you determine the exact locations of all the images on the playing board. The puzzles are all 4x4, 5x5 or 6x6. Each row of the puzzle contains images of the same type (faces, houses, numbers, fruit, street signs, letters, etc). The game scrambles the locations of the items in each row (without showing you their locations) and then presents to you a set of graphical clues that describe the positional relationships of different images. You use the clues to deduce where things can't be (and where they HAVE to be) until you know where all of the images are located. 2500 puzzles in each size for a total of 7500 puzzles! The puzzles in the Free, Pro, Ultra, and Zen versions of the game are all unique, the four versions of the game share NO common puzzles.

Brilliant puzzle game
This is my number 1 go to puzzle game. I used to play it on pc 25 years ago so I was over the moon when I found it on iPad. I play at least 2 puzzles a day every day and have for years now. Brilliant game that you’ll keep getting better at.
Sherlock
This is a game I had on my PC in the 80's and it's very much welcome on my IPad today.
When little I had several books of Holmes Puzzles that gave you a list of characters, the homes they lived in, the pets they had, etc and a couple of clues such as Mrs Brown lived next to the man who owned a cat, Mr Jones did not live in the blue house.
By process of elimination you could eventually work out who lived in what house, who owned which pet, etc.
This is the computerised version of that game. It graphically is pretty much the same as the 80's version with a few modifications in the options that make little difference to gameplay or graphics.
New players might take a little while to cotton on that in the clues if two tiles are together they that simply means they are together and not necessarily in the order shown in the clue.
I find it annoying having the default option on that alerts you if you are trying to remove a tile from the wrong place but for new players I'd suggest leaving that option on and also use the help option frequently until you get how the game works.
The ability to hide clues you've already sorted out is handy though.
Once sussed it's always satisfying to complete each puzzle.
This game is pure logic and well worth buying.
More varied tile sets and variety of clues would be great if an improvement was needed.
Good game for picking up, having a play and putting down again.
