Typical Sky rubbish
Managed to download and log in fine with my Sky Sport Now details. The app looks like it is comprehensive and it promises what it, unfortunately, fails to deliver. I’ve tried casting both live and replay events, but it simply lags and lags and won’t establish a stable, smooth connection with my TV via Chromecast. I have similar casting problems with the Sky Sport Now app — Sky is the only streaming service that gives me any trouble, as I have a new TV, fibre broadband, etc. at home — so the problem definitely is on their end. They just don’t seem able to produce a capable, reliable casting app. It’s as if their tech is ten years out of date.
I brought the Olympic Pass which advises gives access to this app and all its exclusive content. I can get into the app but says for the live streams I “don’t have access to this content, please upgrade membership”. Was wanting to watch some sports that aren’t live streamed on Sky Sport Now - so now am missing out. Contacted sky chat and they were just downright rude and very unhelpful. Sky should not be allowed to say you are buying a product and then not deliver
Sky log in does not work
I can sign in with my Sky log on details but when ever I try to watch something I get an error message that I don’t have access and I need to upgrade my membership.
Sky have said they can’t help me when I have called them and talked to them on text chat, they say I need to send an email, but so far no response.
