Long time user - love this app

I absolutely Love this app. I have been using this for the past six years, and have always found it super insightful and easy to use. The one thing I would really like to see though is more compatibility with third-party devices. I recently purchased a Garmin watch hoping that I could get more accurate heart monitoring. Unfortunately the app doesn’t connect with Garmin watches at all which is unfortunate, and leaves me now needing to check three different apps for my sleep data instead of just two (I also use Rise to track my energy levels throughout the day). I will continue to use sleep cycle still but I really wish it would support more watch devices.

Hard to believe all data is true and correct

I’ve had the app for a couple of weeks now and nearly everyday it says I fall asleep after 3 minutes which I know is simply not true. Last night for example, I tossed and turned for at least 15 mins before falling asleep. Additionally I will often wake up during the set “wake period”, but without the alarm having gone off. If the app is supposed to be sensing when I’m in my lightest stage of sleep, why is it not sensing that I’m about to wake up, or at the very least going off once I’m actually awake (moving around a lot, breathing differently)? Furthermore, the app is not accurately depicting the amount of times I wake through the night, showing only one period of wakefulness on nights I know I was awake at least a couple of times.

Unfortunately I feel as though the app has almost worsened my quality of sleep as I’ve become more acutely aware of sleep quality/periods of wakefulness, wanting to compare to the apps data every morning having spent so much money on it. I’m pretty keen to get my money back, or at the very least get some feedback from the developers on how to improve its functionality (though I have been using it as per instructions). I run the app on a less than one year old iPhone XR.

I’ve awarded 3 stars because the interface is really well designed, and the data presentation and breakdown is slick and thorough. I can’t give higher than that though because I know factually that some of the data is not accurate
