While many teachers start experimenting with Digital classes around New Zealand it's important to have a couple of well-proven ideas to enhance learning and teaching... The classroom response system is proven and this is a very good version of that.

What makes this App more useful than others is the Short Answer option. This gives the ability to collect full answers for every student rather than be limited to pre-determined multi-choice options. It is incredibly easy to see where students minds are, because you can get a number of "incorrect" responses that you couldn't have predicted or prepared for in multi-choice responses.

There are still plenty of "problems" though which I look forward to seeing resolved in the future. The Space Race is unpredictable - it appears to be the race to get questions answered, rather than answered correctly, and seems to take the FIRST person in the group as the racer, rather than the entire group. Voting on Short Answer responses doesn't collate responses before allowing voting - so if 12 students respond with "13" as an answer, and 12 students respond with "11" as an answer, there are twenty-four voting options, rather than just two!

Still, it's pretty easy to use and has helped my ascertain my students' understanding in an instant, allowing for immediate readjustment of a lesson to cater for my incorrect assumption that everyone had understood.

I would like to ask you to change the file name for the downloaded reports. The date format is confusing to non-Americans. It would be easier to file as year-month-day (2017-02-15) as this automatically keeps them in date order and is universally understood. Thank you.
