Description
The SmartLink WiFi module and app allow you to connect to and take control of your spa remotely from any location at any time. The SmartLink module connects to any model SV controller and then uses your home WiFi network to facilitate communication between the app server and the spa. The SmartLink app becomes a mobile, wireless remote for your spa enabling complete control of all settings and accessories including pumps, blowers and LED lights.
Simple to use touch screen menus provide total control of all spa settings. Adjust set temperature, operating mode, filtration time, sleep or power save timers and more.
Configure the spa to match your usage patterns or solar power generation, drastically reducing your heating costs and saving you thousands in energy costs over the lifetime of
the spa.
Link your SmartLink app to Amazon Alexa to control your spa by voice commands.
The SmartLink app also has multi-lingual support automatically displaying English, French, German, Dutch and Spanish based on phone locale.

Ratings and Reviews
Useful but needs work
Good app in many ways. I like the description of each function and how that relates to the functions on the spa controller. Main issue for me is that if I try to update the time, or do any time related function, i.e. setting the automatic cleaning, the app completely crashes. If that could be fixed it would be awesome!
Major problems connecting
Brand new spa complete with a brand new wifi unit. The specs on the wifi look amazing as to what it can do, however, even although the Spanet SmartLink brochure says it has a “Swift, Simple setup process. Extremely quick and simple setup process via Bluetooth”, I have spent the last 5 hours trying to get the unit to “go online”!! Everything connects ok, my Mesh unit is only 9 metres away and I have a signal strength of -41db. I’ve done everything Spanet say to do to overcome this ‘problem’, but it still won’t go online!!
However after sending an email outlining the problem, Spanet actually rang me (within 48hours) and talked me through getting the unit online. They were great! It was an easy fix, basically by Copy and Pasting your modem password in from your iPhone settings page, into the ap (instead of manually typing the password in). Works like a treat!
Never seen a worse “upgrade” before
Normally when you upgrade an app and force users off an existing app that works you would test the new app and make sure it works - I think the testers were away sick that day or maybe on extended leave. I can no longer connect to my spa and app keeps crashing through set up process.
If I had a choice on apps I wouldn’t even be attempting to connect ever again but I dread wasting another 15 minutes later on trying to connect again. Is it possible to just use the old reliable app that worked ?
