Such fond memories

I have such fond memories of this game. Would love you to consider a remaster so it still looks good on new iPhones but understand it might not be financially viable. If you’re interested though, please email me (I’m also a dev), jontycg (at) gmail (dot) com

Simple graphics, MANIC gameplay. LOVED IT.

I found myself manically swiping my screen after my first involuntary 1hr session.

Its a simple game, with some rough edges, as any stick figure game should be, and I loved it!

That said, don't expect anyone to understand when you try and explain why you were frantically flicking and shaking your iPhone/iPod, utterly engrossed in the game, for the past 5min straight. Won't make you good friends with anyone, especially since you won't want to let anyone else play and wipe your
saved game...

Simple concept well executed

Pros
+Very addictive
+A welcome element of strategy is involved
+Nice artwork
+Version 1.2 looks like it's going to deal with most of my gripes
+Worth the $$

Cons
-Can become boring due to repetitive gameplay
-If your upkeep costs exceed your cash you lose archers, repairmen or wizards. This can result in a ruined game if you accidentally train a few too many prisoners
-Each game is pretty much the same as another and once you've played a few games there isn't much incentive to keep playing.

Suggestions
*Add something to tell us what our income will be at the end if the round and something to tell us what our current upkeep costs are.
*Make some (powerful) upgrades available only after a player has reached a certain round.
*Let us customize our castle for purely asthetic appeal
*Add a high score board to add incentive to keep playing
*New upgrades for better archers, repairmen and other kinds of wizard spells (which can be used with different gestures in game).
*Upgrades for more defensive works: moat, palisade etc.
*As wall is upgraded it's appearance should change
*Each enemy killed should give a higher score and cash payout in higher rounds (at the moment it's easy to get cash strapped even with very conservative purchasing)
*Maybe add a few boss rounds
