Talent Connect Whanganui 4+

Talent Connect Whanganui is designed to connect Whanganui Employers with skilled job seekers. Employers & job seekers can sign up to Talent Connect by creating a profile. Once registered, employers & job seekers can search through Talent Connect and match with options that are suitable.
Businesses will get:
- Opportunity to connect with skilled job seekers in Whanganui
- Opportunity to connect with other employers that might be interested in co sharing employees
- To see potential employees with key transferable skills who could be a good fit for their business
- To see potential employees who have matched with the business that might not have been considered through traditional advertising.

Job seekers will get:
- Opportunity to connect directly with employers for further conversation around job opportunities
- To build a profile of key skills that assist with redeployment back into workforce
- To connect with further opportunities for skill development/ retraining locally
- To see employers who have matched with them

The opportunity to connect will only appear once there is a match between both the job seeker and the business.
The app features & notifications include:
Member profile actions include: name, job title, photo (optional), goals, bio, interests, industry, previous organisations, social media links, experience & skills, hourly rate (optional)
- Members can indicate preferred ways to meet
- Ability to search for people by job type
- Ability to search people by their goal e.g. full time, part time etc.
- Ability to search for people by their interests
- Ability to view other members full profile based on your search
- Ability to match by “swiping right” on profiles that suit
- Ability to “swipe left” to take no action on a profile
- Ability to “thumbs up” to endorse other members that you may have worked with previously
- Ability to view member endorsements on their profile
- Notification of a match being made (2 members have matched on each other’s profile).
- Ability to send a message to your match- this will be a notification sent to your match.
- Displays the members that have liked or matched with your profile
- Displays your matches as a list
- Unmatch with profiles you don’t think suit
- Report and issues/missuses
- View the profile of your matches
