Tauranga households have kerbside rubbish, recycling and food scraps collections. This app makes it easy to keep on top of your bins, features include:
- Find your collections day and set notifications for when to get your bins to the kerbside
- Track your collections truck in real time
- Learn what goes where, use our handy search function to check if an item should be sent to landfill, recycled or composted
- Check the opening hours of your transfer station
- Get service alerts, receive up to date information on public holiday collection day changes and more

Tracking doesn’t work, everything else is good.
The app provides all the information needed except for the tracking part. I checked multiple times on my collection day and apparently the truck was in the same spot on Bellevue road all four times I checked. Times were from 10am until 4:40pm, when I finally saw the truck in my road, although the app still said it was 10mins down the road at the same spot on Bellevue road shown multiple times throughout the day.

Bin Reminder Notification prompted on wrong date
My collection date is on Thursday. But I received the notification on Thursday night instead of Wed. When I try to use “track” function on Thursday, it will prompt it is not my collection day. The collection date shown in “My Bin” is Thursday.

They are resolved in the latest version of the app. Please ensure that you toggle bin reminders off and then back on again after upgrading to clear any old bin reminders -- and don't hesitate to contact us at developer@environz.co.nz if there are any further problems.
Glitch! Cant get past instructions screens
Hmmmm not sure why this app won’t actually function. I’ve swiped left 4 times but can’t get past there! Get started button won’t work. I’ve gone out of the app and closed the app down several times. IOS 15 fail!!
