You can play against AI-driven world leaders with various difficulties, or you can jump into online games against other players.
Thanks to the ELO system, the game will find you opponents of the same level as you are.
Clash with them and discover whose strategy leads to victory.
You can also participate in some of the many championships, including the official World Championship in Through the Ages.

The king of crunchy euro board games
Through the ages is one of the most important games in tabletop history by one of the greatest designers. To be able to play this, against amazingly tough ai (or online friends) for only $15 is amazing. If you think you know board games then this is a must. Be warned, it is heavy, and does take time to learn, but the reward is worth it. Excellent tutorial but might want to watch a learn to play online first. So so fast and heaps to learn.
Everything I hoped it would be
I've waited a long time for this but it was worth it. It's even playable on the iPhone as long as you already know what you're doing - I wouldn't fancy learning on anything smaller than an ipad though!
Excellent game, excellent app
I ❤️ this game, but it's hard to find people to play a game of its length in the Boardgame format. The app makes it easy to play a full, satisfying game in a relatively short time, and the implementation is excellent. Highly recommended if you own the game, or like complex games.
