Anyone who’s booked train tickets in the UK knows it can be a labyrinthine task. Am I buying off-peak tickets? What is off-peak? What is “super” off-peak? Am I getting the best deal? We were thrilled to have all this—and more—finally made clear as day by a souped-up Trainline app. It’s become as essential to our train travel as a fully charged phone battery.

Trainline website has always been great - now as an app, brilliant!
Really great
Great apart from one annoying thing, I keep getting notifications in app which prevent me from doing what I want to do, and it’s usually as I’m trying to show my ticket to the conductor or trying to activate my ticket or something else important.
A little thought could have gone in to either make the in app notifications dismissible, unobtrusive, or simply be able to turn them off, they’re usually something I don’t want to interact with while I’m travelling, I don’t mind answering questions about how many people were on the train, just not while I’m on it
