Description

TripView displays Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane public transport timetable data on your phone. It features a summary view showing your next services, as well as a full timetable viewer. All timetable data is stored on your phone, so it can be used offline.

Features:
- View times for any saved trip with a single tap
- Real-time delay information and vehicle map (subject to data availability)
- Trackwork and service interruption information
- Interactive maps (create your trip by clicking on your station/stop)
- Alarms (arrival/departure, time/distance)
- Multi-modal trip editor (customise exact change locations / lines)
- View your favourite trips on Apple Watch

NOTE: Best efforts are taken to ensure timetable accuracy, but no guarantees are made. If you find an error in the timetable, please email support@tripview.com.au with details. No guarantees are made about real-time data availability. If the transit operator doesn't provide real-time data for a particular service, TripView will revert to showing the scheduled time, as per the timetable.

Alarms require iOS4 and a device that is capable of multitasking. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

What’s New

Version 6.1.0

- This version contains internal changes to support splitting timetable databases into multiple files that can be downloaded separately, potentially reducing update sizes and allowing support for larger databases in the future.
- Fixed bug where automatic routing was showing a 0 minute connection time for extended trips in some cases.
- Updated Sydney Trains network map
- Fixed disappearing toolbar on the Sydney Trains network map page
- Fixed font alignment issue when running on an Apple Silicon Mac

A great App

So helpful and easy to use many thanks

Handy

I enjoy this app but it is 1 min behind (I know it doesn't seem like a lot but makes a difference when you get to the stop thinking you have a minute to spare but the train is long gone) and not always correct in showing late night buses. Still a Sydney must have

Everything you need

As a new arrival in Sydney I needed an app to help me navigate the public transport system here. After trying many I have always come back to TripView Sydney. I use it daily to find the best connections. It is very user friendly and the Developer(s) are doing a great job in keeping it up to date. If you are new to Sydney or just visiting then I would very strongly recommend you get this app. They have a lite one to try but I am sure you will very quickly realise that the full version is the way to go and IMO it is a vey small price to pay for such an excellent app.
