'UVmeter' will tell you UV Index at your current location.
It helps protect you from UV exposure by providing an hourly UV forecast for almost anywhere in the World.
You can see recommended protection, required equipment, sunblock information and sunburn times.
Real-time Ultraviolet Radiation Index evaluation based on publications of The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI), The National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) of New Zealand and near-real-time Ozone datasets from OMI, AURA Satellite, NASA.

Doesn't work in NZ
Middle of summer in NZ at 1pm with clear blue sky and 25 degrees Celsius and apparently according to this app a UV factor of 1! New Zealand has highest UV in the world and it should be somewhere around 10-14! Waste of $1,29.
Doesn't work in NZ
I don't normally buy apps from the App Store but thought I'd give this a try. It could do with some work as it's always on 1 when it's a stunning day and I know it should be higher.

Simple clear uv meter but it frequently said no data was available.
