Pretty good game. (Inshore) Has the odd glitch which can be frustrating.
Sometimes it appears as though you don’t get as many green tokens once you start buying them. Of course you don’t need to buy tokens .. but it is better if you do.
The racing is all on the same course and it would be nice if that changed at random.
Overall good fun.
Pretty good
Good game, fun to race a against other people, the competition is often very tough. I find the steering a bit weird, hard to control bigger turns like mark roundings. Also, you need ‘tokens’ to play the game properly, you get some initially, and win them in races, however, once you’ve played a bit, your level increases which means you don’t win them during races, and would need to buy them. Fine, except the game has a few glitches which means you get kicked out of the race part way through, and loose the tokens spent on that race. I’m not going to pay real money to have it lost due to software issues. So I don’t play often anymore due to not having tokens = less fun and not competitive.
Good game, but incredibly frustrating implementation of sailing rules
This, initially, is a fun game, but then you realise how terrible the implementation of the rules of sailing is. Some rules are fine, but particularly right of way rounding marks, etc needs serious attention by the devs. It’s ridiculous that you can be rounding the bottom mark well in front, and have someone with their spinnaker still up come up at speed from behind and deliberately cause you to foul.
The game becomes more about how to take advantage of the games terrible rule implementation that actually sailing to win fairly.
