W.E.L.D.E.R. offers an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly starting at the end of your free trial. W.E.L.D.E.R. Premium is offered at $4.99USD per month after a 7 day free trial, and W.E.L.D.E.R. Daily Gigawatts is offered at $9.99USD per month without a free trial. Your W.E.L.D.E.R. subscription will automatically renew at the end of each month and your credit card will be charged automatically through your iTunes account. You can turn off auto-renew at any time during your free trial from your iTunes account settings and your account will not be charged. After your auto-renewing monthly subscription begins, you can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes account settings but refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.

So addictive!
This is the game I’ve played most through lockdown. I love all the different ways of playing. One small issue with this new version, though - my gigawatts keep disappearing even when I haven’t used them. Sometimes they reappear, but not always. If you could fix this, I’d really appreciate it. And thanks for creating such an awesome game!

Update: Actually, this sounds like a bug. I’ve disabled ads until I figure this out. Will you write me in support by going to the main menu, tap the little settings button at the bottom, and tap “contact support” on that page? I want to make sure you don’t have this problem again.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Like many apps, WELDER is moving to a ad-based plus subscription business model for all new users, with a goal of increasing the rate of new updates, device compatibility, and new features. The good news is that all users from legacy WELDER should never see ads and have no subscription requirement. You just had to use the migration tool in legacy WELDER to create an account and migrate your game data, OR have used Game Center in WELDER sometime in the last 9 years. But alas, some people like yourself do slip through, but I can manually set your account up to not require a subscription. Please send me an email through the app. To do that, open the main menu, tap the little tools icon on the bottom, and tap Contact Support. If you're in the game, you get to the main menu by tapping "Menu" and then "Home. I'm looking forward to getting you playing ad and subscription free again!
Great game, but too expensive.
I loved the original version of this game, but the relaunched post-Ayopa version is way too expensive at $108 per year. With the addition of ads, subscription model, and huge increase in price over the original, I have deleted it. A shame, too - I’ll miss it.
